The Posada Rio Serrano Hostel is located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, on the shores of Lake Toro and in the administrative and operations center of the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF ). It is the final destination of all regular buses passing through the Park. In private vehicle it can be reached from Puerto Natales in just 2 hours, travelling by the new road to the Park, passing by the Milodon Cave and entering the Park at the Porteria Rio Serrano. The former family home and library of the Estancia of Don Guido Monzino, the Posada has been remodelled and now has 12 guest rooms, the majority of which have bunk beds. It provides a cozy and warm atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful and unique surrounings. The Posada Rio Serrano Hostel also has a restaurant, general store, a bar and a lounge with access to telephone and wireless internet, where you can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and a nice break by the warmth of the fireplace. The Posada is committed to care for and preserve the ecosystem of the park, for this reason electricity and central heating are not provided 24 hours a day. From here ours guests can receive information and are able to access the different services, attractions and activities available within the Torres del Paine Park. Reservations can be made for services within and outside the area, including horse riding, sailing, regular tours, ice trekking, kayaking, hiking and much more.
